Dr. Yao-Ting Wang is an experienced entrepreneur and technology visionary with a distinguished track record of success in Silicon Valley. He has co-founded two successful technology startups: Numerical Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NMTC) in 1995 and helped take it to public in 2000, and Clear Shape Technologies, Inc. in 2004, both of which achieved success through his leadership. Numerical Technologies was acquired by Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) in 2003, and Clear Shape Technologies was acquired by Cadence in 2007. In 2008, Wang moved back to Taiwan and co-founded Darwin Management Venture with Dr. Simon Fang, providing business and technical consulting services as well as venture fund management.

Wang received his Ph.D. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and his B.S. in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University. His research for IC manufacturing formed the basis for his first venture. He has played a major role in operations, engineering, and technology in both of his startups and led them to win numerous awards for his innovative ideas and products.
