Mr. Jun-Ji Lin was the pioneering 12-inch wafer fabrication director in Taiwan's semiconductor industry, where he excelled in managing Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC; TWSE: 2330, NYSE: TSM). Lin served at TSMC for two decades and held various positions of growing responsibility in engineering, IE/OE, new fab planning and engineering, technical transfer, and corporate program management. After retiring from TSMC, Mr. Lin gathered and joined over 100 alumni of National Tsing Hua University to establish a venture capital company, Shuimu Venture Consulting Co., Ltd., where he serves as a board member now. He further involves actively in Shuimu Angel Funds, NTHU Garage, “Quarter to TEN” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Platform to help mentor Tsinghua’s entrepreneurial teams.
Lin is currently the chairman of Taiwan Electron Microscope Instrument Corporation, a board member of TAIFLEX Scientific Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 8039), a board member of STEK Co., Ltd., an independent director of M31 Technology Corporation (TWSE: 6643) and an independent director of Silicon Optronics, Inc. (TWSE: 3530).
Lin received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from National Cheng Kung University in 1982 and an M.S. in Applied Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in 1984, as well as an Executive MBA from National Taiwan University in 2006.
